Xiaomi foldable may be called the Mi Mix 4 Pro Max: Ross Young

Xiaomi’s foldable Mi Mix 4 Pro Max is soon to release. The smartphone is one of a kind with sliders in Xiaomi’s smartphone range.

“The upcoming Xiaomi foldable may be called the Mi Mix 4 Pro Max.”, says Ross Young.

According to Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Pro Max display comes from China Star Optoelectronics Technology (CSOT) – a subsidiary of TCL.

The device is foldable with the screen popping outward. The screen, when folded, will have a diagonal of 6.38 inches. Earlier it was suspected that Xiaomi’s foldable screens would be supplied by Samsung.

In a tweet, Ross said:

Xiaomi imprinted its name when it became the first company to unleash a flagship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset. The brand revealed the Mi 11 in December alongside MIUI 12.5.

Recently, Xiaomi announced its new flagship for global markets, beside the respective version of MIUI made for the global audience.

It is said that Xiaomi managed to become the third-largest smartphone brand in the world despite the ongoing pandemic.
