Xiaomi introduces the World’s fastest-charging smartphone

The world’s fastest-charging phone has been announced by Xiaomi. As announced by company Redmi Note 12 series consist of four devices. Among them, the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition offers the fastest charging.

The latest smartphone by Redmi supports 210W of fast charging. It is accompanied by a 4,300mAh battery that could be recharged in just nine minutes.

One important thing to note here is that previously a 240W was considered fast charging. It was in accordance with the announcement made by OPPO. But unfortunately, not a single smartphone demonstrating the said charging has been launched. It seems that Redmi is leading the competition as of now.

Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition are the three smartphones of the Redmi Note 12 series. There are some similarities as well as some differences between the three smartphones. Talking about the similarities, all three smartphones feature:

  • a 6.67-inch full HD+ (2400 x 1080) LED display

  • 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB with LPDDR4X RAM variants respectively

  • a 16-megapixel front-facing camera
  • in-display fingerprint scanner
  • infrared sensor
  • Dolby Atmos support
  • Bluetooth 5.2
  • audio jack: as are super-linear stereo speakers

The first two models of the Redmi Note 12 series feature 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Whereas, the 12GB RAM variant features 256GB storage.
