Xiaomi’s new focus is smartphone cameras. The company aims to provide a new experience to mobile users. Keeping this in mind, the company is reportedly working on a new device with a 200MP camera, which might come in 2022.
Besides holding a heavy camera, this new flagship is also expected to come with a Snapdragon 888 plus processor and a dual-curved display with a punch-hole camera cutout.
Since these details came out from a tipster, we are limited with information and are unsure about the device holding these specifications.
It is pertinent to mention here that Xiaomi is not doing this for the first tie. In 2019, we saw a similar feature with Xiaomi Mi Note 10 that came out with a 108MP camera, which was a big new back then.
We also heard from a tipster that Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone would use Snapdragon’s SM8450 platform, the next iteration of the current Snapdragon 888. This processor will be built from a new 4nm manufacturing process and offer a 20% bump in AI performance.
