Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Leak Shows Huge 120x Zoom Camera

With the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, the next flagship smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer seems to be in the starting blocks. A detailed leak now shows the upcoming top model with a huge camera, 120x zoom and a mini display on the back.

On the Philippine YouTube channel Tech Buff PH reported by xda-developer, a first video of the previously unannounced Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra could be seen for a short time, which is apparently in the hands of influencers and testers even before its official release. While the classic Mi 11 was recently confirmed for February 25th in Europe, the rumour mill has been talking about possible Pro and Lite offshoots for several weeks, which are now joined by the leaked Ultra model.

If you trust the authentic-looking recordings, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will have a 6.8-inch OLED display with a WQHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The new Snapdragon 888 chip from Qualcomm and Harman / Kardon loudspeakers are also to be used. The battery capacity is stated by the YouTuber as 5000 mAh. The charging options are also interesting: With 67 watts, the Android smartphone should be able to be charged both wired and wirelessly. Accessories Mi 11 Ultra with 10 watts could on the back with power supply – keyword “reverse charging”.

The camera is the big highlight in Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

However, the focus of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra should be the comparatively expansive camera system. Not only does the triple camera module with a 50-megapixel main sensor and two 48-MP lenses for wide-angle and telephoto recordings take up a large part of the upper rear, but it also has a large camera hump. The Mi 11 Ultra should be able to achieve a 120x zoom level via periscope lenses, while a small display is positioned next to the cameras as a unique selling point. This is expected to be used to better take selfies.

So far, Xiaomi has not commented on other smartphone launches within the new series apart from the Mi 11. However, it can be assumed that the manufacturer will speak out about new models in the course of spring. Until then, leaks of this kind should be viewed with a certain amount of scepticism, as these could also be the first prototypes.
