Xiaomi Mi 11 Without Charger After Apple And Samsung

In addition to Apple and Samsung, there will soon be the next manufacturer to deliver its smartphones without a power supply unit. Xiaomi has announced that the Mi 11 (Pro) will soon be launched without the accessories. Environmental reasons should be responsible for this.

Apple and Samsung Without Charger Already

When the iPhone manufacturer Apple confirmed that the iPhone 12 would be released without a charger, Samsung and Xiaomi had made fun of the company in the form of marketing jokes. Only sometime later, Samsung had to delete the respective posts, as some models of the Galaxy S21 are also offered without a power supply.

Recently, pictures of the packaging of the Xiaomi Mi 11 appeared on social networks. The photos showed that the packaging is about the same size as the packaging of the iPhone 12. Therefore, Xiaomi fans have already asked themselves whether the manufacturer also does without an included power supply. Xiaomi boss Lei Jun has now announced on Weibo that the Xiaomi Mi 11 (Pro) actually appears without a power supply.

The power supply is missing for environmental reasons

With this, Xiaomi would like to make a contribution to environmental protection. Many smartphone users do not need a new power supply unit because they have already purchased a device and still have a corresponding adapter. Nevertheless, this step should annoy new smartphone buyers, as the power supply unit then has to be purchased separately and incurs additional costs. The Xiaomi Mi 11 (Pro) will be unveiled during a digital press conference on December 28, 2020.
