Xiaomi could be working on a new device dubbed the Mi 12. The device was spotted in the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) database with the model code 2112123AC.
According to Phone Arean, who heard it from a tipster, this new Xiaomi smartphone could come with Qualcomm’s latest chipset – the Snapdragon 895. Though this processor is not yet released, so is the Xiaomi Mi 12.
We also heard from Phone Arena that this smartphone would bring the main camera with a 200MP sensor on the rear. We aren’t certain how many cameras would there be with this main camera.
This Xiaomi smartphone might also feature wireless charging support at a rate of up to 100W with a 120W wired charging support.
Now to its display. We heard from the source that it would be quite impressive since the display on this new device would consist of an LTPO panel, supporting “a variable frame rate with a range between 1 and 120 Hz.”
This device is expected to come by the end of the year, so we have plenty of time to hear more news about this new Xiaomi smartphone.
