Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched its new flagship Xiaomi Mi 8 in Hong Kong today, incredibly designed Xiaomi Mi 8 with a notch and dual rear cameras seems a great deal.
The phone is available in three color variants, black, gold and blue and comes with two different variants including 6GB+64GB variant and 6GB+128GB variant. The phone is priced at $433, HK 3,399 for 64GB variant and $471, HK 3,699 for 128GB variant.
The phone is specifically designed for photos, having 12 megapixels dual camera using the same wide-angle + telephoto program similar to iPhone 7 plus.
The major selling points of Xiaomi Mi 8 revolves around dual frequency GPS with incredible accuracy, Snapdragon 845 chipset, DxOMark camera rating of 105, multifunctional NFC, fullscreen display 5.0-inch, dual 4G dual VoLTE, AI voice assistant and more.
As the phone is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC, along with 6GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB and 256GB internal storage, the hardware combination of the phone is high-end, the phone has managed to score over 300.000 on the Antutu benchmark, which makes it the best scoring smartphone equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 on the market.

Xiaomi Mi 8 camera is incredible, sports 12MP+12MP rear camera in a vertical setting, setup with 1.4um pixel size, 4-axis OIS, dual-pixel autofocus and AI scene detection. The front shooter is 20MP along with 1.8um pixels and f/2.0 aperture. The camera has the functionality of AI portrait and beautify.
