Xiaomi Mi 8 SE continues the second batch sales

Xiaomi had announced its flagship Mi 8 on May 31 along with its smaller version Xiaomi Mi 8 SE which started its second batch sales today morning.

You can now book the smartphone on their website, it is worth mentioning that mi.com has announced that official sale after bookings would initiate on June 15.

You may get this smartphone on Mi Mall (now) and Xiaomi Youping (on June 15) for the price mentioned at the time of launch. However, if you cannot access these sites then you can try checking out Chinese stores like Geekbuying or Gearbest, the price listed on these stores is little higher than the launch price.

The 4GB+64GB variant is priced at 1799 yuan ($282) whereas 6GB+64GB variant is priced at 1999 yuan ($313).

One of the unique selling points of Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is that the smartphone is the first one to carry Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 chipset, the latest in the market, the chip uses 10nm process similar to Snapdragon 845, the chip has 8-cores with CPU frequency of 2.2GHz, it has Adreno 616 GPU.

Xiaomi Mi 8 SE features 5.88-inch full view screen and 6GB RAM along with 3120mAh battery. While camera department is impressive as well, the phone is equipped with dual rear AI based cameras with 12MP+5MP camera resolution. The camera also has f/1.9 providing enough light to come through and leave you some nice bokeh effects on your images. Recognizing 206 different scenes, real-time optimization tuning and dual PD speed focus are some extra features.
