Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Details Are Leaked

Almost all technical data and pictures of the new Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 have been leaked prior to the presentation on August 10th. The 6.67-inch high-end smartphone has a Snapdragon 888+ drive and, thanks to the new sub-display camera, a “hole-free” OLED screen.

While the Chinese manufacturer was able to almost prevent the leaks for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 in the last few weeks and months, the locked “Reviewers Guide” via Gizmochina is here, the previously selected testers of the Smartphones were handed out. Not only official images emerge from it, but also the detailed specifications of the Android smartphone. Rumors discussed in advance are thus largely confirmed.

FHD+ display with up to 120Hz Refresh rate, and Dolby Vision

In the 6.67-inch format, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will have an AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 10-bit color depth, and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. In addition, the touchscreen, which is equipped with a sampling rate of 480 Hz, should support features such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The display is protected by Corning’s improved Gorilla Glass Victus, which will also be used in the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 models from Samsung.

Fast 3.0 GHz processor, sub-display camera with 5x zoom

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+, an eight-core chip with a clock rate of up to 3.0 GHz, should provide the drive. It is supported by LPDDR5 main memory (RAM) and UFS 3.1 memory, for which no capacities have yet been announced. As a camera highlight, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 relies on a sub-display cam (UDC) on the front, which enables a hole-free and notch-free front. In contrast to the low-resolution 4 MP camera from Samsung, up to 20 megapixels with a pixel size of 1.6 micrometers should be possible here.

On the back, however, a triple camera system with a 108-megapixel sensor (Samsung Isocell Bright HMX) along with ultra-wide-angle and 5x zoom lenses with 13 megapixels and eight megapixels, respectively, will be used. Other key data of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 include a 4500 mAh battery with 120-watt quick charge (50-watt wireless), hi-res audio with Harman Kardon speakers, ultra-broadband (UWB), 5G modem, Wi-Fi Fi 6, NFC, and housing that weighs just under 225 grams and is waterproof to IP68 in gray, white or black.

The possible international and therefore also European variants of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 with MIUI 12.5 along with Google Android 11, no information is available yet. The prices from the Asian region are also missing so far. The details leaked via Weibo have also been deleted.
