Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 to Come with the Fastest Charging Power

Rumors are revolving around saying Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is reaching several certification sites, meaning it is preparing for a launch. In recent times, we saw the device made it to the certifications in China. It suggested that this device’s fast-charging power will “refresh historical records.” That means the Mi MIX 4 will come with the fastest charging power in history.

Previously, we heard that this phone would come with charging support of 50W. According to the Interim Provisions on Radio Management of Wireless Charging (Power Transmission) Equipment (Draft for Comment) issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the rated transmission power of mobile and portable wireless charging equipment should not exceed 50W.

But for the wired charging, the Mi MIX 4 will use a way higher charging capacity, which could be as high as a 200W fast charging technology.

On the other hand, we also heard that this could come with 120W wired fast charging + 70W wireless fast charging technology. This charging technology is still good enough to break records.

According to the source, “the 200W fast charge has protection in four ways. They include the charging temperature, charging voltage, charging current, and charging protocol. There are a total of 40 multiple safety protection measures.”
