Xiaomi Redmi Note 5: Price & Specifications in Pakistan

Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus were released in December. After that, it was anticipated that Xiaomi will launch a bigger version of Redmi Note 5 worldwide. Now the most recent leaks of the phone give a different picture. Xiaomi as per the leaks is launching two completely new versions of Redmi Note 5. These new phones will have a dual camera.

As per the 3C listing, the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will have Snapdragon 636. The phone will have 64GB storage and 4GB RAM. The display screen of the phone as expected will be 5.99” diagonal and 18:9 ratio.

The front camera of the phone will be 8MP while the rear camera will be 16MP and 5MP sensors. As per reports, the phone will come with MIUI 9 and it will have face recognition feature.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 battery will be 4,100 mAh and it will have 18W fast charging support.

Moreover, the phone will have a cheaper affordable version as well that will have Snapdragon 630. The memory of the phone will be 32GB.

Coming to the price of the phone, its expected starting price is CNY1,499 or €190 or $238  and the slightly better version of the phone will cost CNY1,799 or €230 or $285. In Pakistan, the price, excluding tax and import charges will be somewhere around PKR32000 for the slightly expensive phone and PKR 27000 for the cheaper phone. So this phone is for people who are looking for an affordable yet stylish smartphone with all the necessary features.

It is expected that both Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 phones will launch next month in February. There is a chance that these phones will be released at MWC 2018 along with Mi7. In Pakistan, the launch date is yet not decided. We can hope that after its official launch, the phone will release worldwide in a couple of months.
