Xiaomi’s going to have a massive event on Tuesday May 26, when it’s going to reveal a lot of devices. We expected to see three smartphones from the Redmi 10X lineup, but now the company has posted more teasers on its different Weibo profiles, confirming a new Redmi X TV with MEMC movement and a 16.1 “screen laptop will also appear during the launch next week.

The TV will be joining the Redmi Smart TV Max- a monstrous 98 “4K TV set, as well as the Redmi 70” TV, which was introduced back in 2019. The MECM motion mentioned by Redmi is Motion Estimation Motion Compensation, and it compensates for the blur by adding artificially generated frames to make a video smoother with no blur to imitate a screen with 120 fps.

The laptop will have an ultra-thin, bezel-less display- just 3.26 mm. This will result in a screen-to-body ratio of 90%, whereas the sRGB color range is said to be 100%. Other specs include a Ryzen 4000 processor, although some sources suspect Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 solutions are more powerful options.
Four more days remain until the event takes place online, and we expect Xiaomi to keep teasing its products, while on Tuesday there is only the pricing and availability left to announce.
