Xiaomi released its Ultra-Thin Power Bank

Compared to other smartphone companies, Xiaomi is quite famous when it comes to power banks. The company has a huge portfolio of power banks featuring different models. Recently, the company introduced a new power bank. Reportedly, the power bank has a thin form factor. Although the battery capacity is not quite large, the design is the main focus here. It is an affordable option, like most of the company’s products.
The new power bank from Xiaomi is so light and tiny that it can’t fully charge most phones
The company has named the device Xiaomi Ultra-Thin Power Bank 5,000mAh. The product is already available for sale with a price tag of ¥129 (~$20). The product is quite thin, with a 10mm thickness. It weighs 93 grams. In simple words, users can carry it easily in their pockets, just like a card. The body of the power bank is coated with an NCVM (Non-Conductive Vacuum Metallization) coating, which gives it the appearance of a metal piece with a shiny look.
The name of the new power bank indicates the battery capacity of the device, i.e., 5,000 mAh. It means that the product is unable to charge the most recent smartphones completely. It has a single USB Type-C port. It is shipped with a USB Type-C to Type-C cable that supports a 20W output and 18W input.
Last but not least, the power bank features nine layers of protection including input over-current, output over-current, battery over-charge and over-discharge, input overvoltage, output over-voltage, overcurrent short circuit, temperature, short circuit, and reset.
