Xiaomi Released The Mi Notebook Pro And Mi Notebook Ultra In India

Xiaomi released the Mi Notebook Pro and the Mi Notebook Ultra in India.

Mi Notebook Pro - Mi Notebook Ultra

Earlier this month, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi announced its RedmiBook 15 series in India. Now the company has also introduced the Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Notebook Ultra.

Mi Notebook Pro

The Mi Notebook Pro has a 14-inch Display with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 60 Hz refresh rate. The device is equipped with a 56 Whr battery. The whole unit is 17.3 mm thin and weighs 1.46 kg.

According to a source, the Mi Notebook Pro comes in two major options: (1) Intel’s 11th Gen Core i7-11370H processor and (2) Intel’s 11th Gen i5-11300H CPU. The higher-end variant will have only one memory configuration – 16GB of RAM. The lower-end model has two options – 8GB and 16GB of RAM. Both variants have a 512GB NVMe SSD storage option.

As for the prices, we have the following options:

  • The Mi Notebook Pro with Core i5 and 8 GB of RAM will cost INR 56,999 ($770/€650).
  • The Mi Notebook Pro with Core i5 and 16 GB of RAM will cost INR 59,999 ($810/€685).
  • The Mi Notebook Pro with Core i7 and 16 GB of RAM will cost INR 72,999 ($985/€835).

Mi Notebook Ultra

The Mi Notebook Ultra comes with a 15.6-inch display with a 3,200 x 2,000 pixels resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 90 Hz refresh rate. It also supports DC Dimming to reduce eye fatigue. This laptop also comes with a full-size keyboard with a 3-level backlight, a fingerprint reader in the power button, HD Webcam, 3.5mm headphone jack, built-in microphone, and two 2W stereo speakers with DTS Audio support.

This higher-end model features Intel’s 11th Gen Core i7-11370H processor and offers a maximum clock speed of 4.8 GHz. There is also a lower variant for the same device that features Intel’s 11th Gen i5-11300H CPU, which offers up to 4.4 GHz clock speed. The i7 variant comes with a single 16 GB of RAM option, whereas the i5 model offers two options – 8GB RAM and 16GB RAM. Both variants have a 512GB NVMe SSD storage option.

Both variants of the Mi Notebook Ultra will also feature Intel’s Iris Xe graphics. The laptop is 17.9 mm thin and weighs around 1.7 kg.

The device gets its power from a 70 Whr battery with 12 hours of backup life and futures a 65W charger that takes just 90 minutes to fully charge the whole unit.

In terms of connectivity, the laptop features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, 1x Type C port, 1x Thunderbolt 4, 1 x Type A USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1x Type-A USB 2.0, and 1 x HDMI.

The laptop also comes with MS Office Home and Student Edition 2019 and runs Windows 10 Home out of the box.

Price options for the Mi Notebook Ultra go like this:

  • The Mi Notebook Ultra with Core i5 and 8 GB of RAM will cost INR 59,999 ($810/€685).
  • The Mi Notebook Ultra with Core i5 and 8 GB of RAM will cost INR 63,999 ($860/€730)..
  • The Mi Notebook Ultra with Core i7 and 16 GB of RAM will cost INR 76,999 ($1,040/€880)).

Both the Pro and Ultra models will be available via Mi.com, Amazon. in, and Mi Home Stores across the country. The sales start on August 31st.
