Xiaomi Releases High-End Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra Here Are The Features

Xiaomi unveiled its new high-end smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, on Tuesday in China. A smartphone that multiplies the superlatives with a fast 120 W charge and an optical zoom of up to 120x.

This Tuesday, Xiaomi celebrates its tenth anniversary in China. On occasion, the manufacturer unveiled new products. The most anticipated is none other than a particularly high-end smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.

Xiaomi launched two versions of its latest high-end model, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro, a few months ago. The manufacturer intends to go even further upmarket with its new device.

RECORD-BREAKING 120Watt FAST CHARGING

In terms of features, the smartphone is relatively close to its predecessors. It is thus equipped with a Snapdragon 865 processor – where one could have hoped for a Snapdragon 865 Plus – backed by memory in LPDDR5 format and storage in UFS 3.1. There is also 5G connectivity, but also Wi-Fi 6 which is more accurate, speedy, and catches WiFi signals from a distance.

Where the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra stands out from its predecessors is particularly in terms of fast charging. While the Xiaomi Mi 10 Plus was limited to 50W power and the Xiaomi Mi 10 only offered 30W charging, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is the first smartphone on the market compatible with 120W fast charging, coupled with a 4,500mAh battery. Enough to offer a full charge of the smartphone in 23 minutes, that says the company, however, the time may vary and it drops down as the battery and phone gets older. In five minutes, the charger allows it to recover 41% of the battery. Still concerning the battery, the Mi 10 Ultra benefits from wireless charging, with a power of 50-Watt for a full charge in 40 minutes according to the manufacturer, as well as reverse wireless charging.

A ZOOM THAT CAN GO UP TO X120

Regarding the photography, Xiaomi puts forward the number 120. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is indeed equipped with a telephoto lens with an optical 10X and digital zoom 120X. In addition to this device, the definition is still unknown, the smartphone is equipped with a main sensor of 48MP, an ultra-wide-angle camera of 20MP, and a sensor for portrait mode, with zoom 2X, of 12MP. For video, the smartphone is able to shoot sequences in 8K.

Returning to the screen, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra incorporates a 6.67-inch OLED panel compatible with a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to the manufacturer, the screen, with a definition of 2340×1080 pixels, is able to rise to a brightness of 1200 cd / m² in bright light conditions. The poster is also compatible with the HDR10+ standard.

PRICES AND AVAILABILITY

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is currently only announced for China. The smartphone will be available there from 5299 yuan (648 euros or $760) for the 8GB/128GB version, 5599 yuan (685 euros or $800) for 8GB/256GB, 5999 yuan (734 euros or $860) for 12GB/256 GB and 6999 yuan (856 euros or $1000) for 16GB/512GB.
