Recently, Xiaomi unveiled several new products during its event. Notably, the company revealed the budget flagship alternatives, i.e., the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13T Pro, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8, and the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro. In this short piece, we will uncover some of the details of the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is the company’s first Wear OS smartwatch

Well, this is the company’s first WearOS smartwatch. One thing to notice here is that smartwatches are not a new category for Xiaomi; instead, the company has released them in the past with its own software. The smartwatch features a circular display and three buttons on the right side. Among the three buttons, two serve the purpose of regular ones, while the third one also serves as a rotating crown.

The display of the watch measures 1.43 inches. It is a 466 x 466 AMOLED display with 600 nits of peak brightness and 326 PPI. It offers 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. When it comes to the casing, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is made out of stainless steel. Users can opt for the fluoro rubber or leather strap. Reportedly, the smartwatch is powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 SoC. The smartwatch comes in two different variants, i.e., with and without eSIM support.

It features Dual-band GNSS

Interestingly, the smartwatch has support for dual-band GNSS. Moreover, users have access to over 150 sports modes. The smartwatch is 5ATM water-resistant. It comes with several health aspects, like sleep tracking, Sp01, and heart rate monitoring. It includes several sensors, like an ambient light sensor, an electronic compass, a gyroscope, a barometer, an optical heart rate sensor, an accelerometer, and a bioelectrical impedance analysis sensor.

The smartwatch features a 495mAh battery with a battery life of up to 55 hours with the LTE version and 65 hours with the Bluetooth version. The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro features support for Bluetooth 5.2. The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro without LTE/eSIM support is priced at €269. Whereas the LTE/eSIM version is available for €329 in Europe.
