YouTube Suspends Trump’s Video And Channel

Google-owned video-sharing website YouTube also suspended U.S. President Donald Trump’s channel.

According to reports, after Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram, YouTube also suspended Donald Trump’s channel for a few days, According to the New York Times for at least 7 days.

“Donald Trump uploaded new content to the YouTube channel that was against our policy,”

YouTube said in a statement. There was a risk of violence from the new material. New content has been removed from the channel, according to the video-sharing website. Donald Trump will not be able to upload new content on the channel for 7 days. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram have suspended Donald Trump’s accounts since Trump supporters attacked Capitol Hill.

It is pertinent to mention here that Parler a social media platform sued Amazon earlier for putting restrictions on the social media app when the violence in Capitol was underway.
