YouTube TV adds three more channels to the platform

YouTube TV continues to grow. Reportedly, the platform has added three more channels from E.W. Scripps. The new channels consist of Ion, Scripps News, and Bounce TV. Currently, these channels are provided on fube TV. Fube TV is a direct competitor of the platform YouTube TV. Its subscription is priced at $75 per month. In contrast to its price, we can say that YouTube TV is currently presenting a cheap offer with these channels.

The channel Ion has presented a variety of shows. These include the Scripps National Spelling Bee, Law & Order: SVU, Chicago Fire, NCIS, and Hawaii Five-O. on the other hand, Bounce TV is a channel that came into existence in 2011. It was introduced as the first 24/7 digital multicast broadcast network. Its target audience is African Americans. It has shows like The Game, A Different World, The Wendy Williams Show, and Couples Court. Besides these channels, Scripps News is basically a news channel. The addition of Scripps News is quite good. Since the platform has not had enough such channels.

Generally, whenever more channels are added by the platform, consumers get worried about the increment in prices. Well, this is not happening right now. As the platform has not shared any official word regarding this. Although, we can expect a price increase in the near future. DIRECTV Stream, Hulu + Live TV, and Fubo TV have increased their prices quite recently. So, we can anticipate an upgraded subscription plan shortly.

Currently, YouTube TV offers 90 channels with a monthly subscription priced at $4.99. Besides this, it has some add-on plans too. Users can choose from AMC+, Sports Plus, HBO MAX, and others. The new channels are presented as optional choices. So this is quite good for viewers who are less interested in having access to all channels.
