YouTube will Pay Creators up to $10,000 a Month to Make YouTube Shorts

YouTube is paying up to $10,000 a month to YouTube Short creators.

YouTube Shorts

YouTube has been competing with TikTok. The company first allowed creators its new platform – YouTube Shorts. And is now offering up to $10,000 a month to YouTube creators.

The company has set aside a huge budget for that – a $100 million fund. The company announced this fund back in May 2021. And recently, it shared how it would spread this big amount.

The company has extended this program to 10 regions, including the US, UK, India, and Brazil. The company will use this fund to pay creators throughout 2022. The company is not planning to run ads on these YouTube Shorts.

Interestingly, YouTube is not the only one trying to compete with TikTok, Instagram and others are also doing the same. But TikTok is still gaining popularity. And now there’s one more platform similar to TikTok – Snack Video. TikTokers are vastly using these two platforms, making money, and kind of ignoring the giant – YouTube.

We on the other hand believe that YouTube is still the best video-sharing app as it is a world in itself. We all know that YouTube is more than a short-video sharing app. It is one of the best platforms to share true knowledge, which TikTok and others alike still miss from their platform.

Anyways, that is our opinion. If you like to become a part of YouTube Funds, don’t forget to review the terms shared by YouTube on Google Support.
