Earlier this month, ZTE launched the Axon 30 Ultra in China. The company has decided to release this smartphone globally later this month, starting with pre-orders from May 27th.
According to the source, the device would come in two storage options: (1) 8GB RAM + 128GB storage (2) 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The base variant comes for $749 / €620, whereas the upper model comes for $849/ €699.
On the display side, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, having 144Hz refresh rate support and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top center for the front 16MP camera. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Coming to the rear side camera, we have a quad-camera setup with three 64MP sensors and an 8MP periscope lens. The main 64MP camera is a Sony IMX686 sensor and has an f/1.6 aperture with OIS. The other two 64MP cameras come with ultrawide and 35mm tertiary sensors. The 8MP periscope lens can shoot up to 5x zoom.
This ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC and packs a 4,600 mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging. It runs Android 11-based MyOS 11 out of the box.
