A few days back, we informed our readers about a possible under-display camera ZTE smartphone coming this year. Now we learned from the company that it isn’t a myth but a reality.
According to a source, ZTE is working on the Axon 30 5G with a second-generation under-display camera. This smartphone is rumored to come on July 22nd, i.e., this month.
Moreover, it is said that Visionox and ZTE are working on a new pixel device that enables better clarity and image quality. This camera would have a pixel density of 200 ppi to 400 ppi. Also, the screen refresh rate should go from 90 Hz to 120 Hz.
We also heard from a source that this Axon 30 5G could have a Snapdragon 888 chipset, triple 64MP camera, coupled with an 8MP 5x periscope, and a fast-charging battery.
Previously, we also heard that ZTE would start selling the Axon 30 Ultra with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage this Friday, i.e., July 9th. This smartphone will be available only in China (as rumored), whereas the US version would come with the 8/128 and 12/256 GB versions.
