After the first teaser trailer for Avatar 2: The Way of Water hit theaters exclusively last week, 20th Century Studios has now made it available online. The almost one-and-a-half-minute-long video gives an impressive view of the sequel to the 3D hit from 2009.

Return to Pandora

What is known about the content: Avatar 2 takes place a little over ten years after the end of the first film and focuses on Jake Sully (the protagonist of the first film) and the Na’vi Neytiri, who go to extremes. are going to protect their Families from danger and keep them alive.

The first teaser does not yet reveal the dangers involved. Overall, the video hardly reveals any details about the story, but mainly shows beautiful landscape shots, the proximity to the water mentioned in the title is unmistakable here. Besides numerous Na’vi, an industrial or military facility of the people can also be seen. Unfortunately, the teaser doesn’t give any impression of the quality of the 3D effects, at least when you watch them at home, which is said to be much more impressive than the predecessor.
