AMD Ryzen 7000 Series: 7950X, 7900X, 7700X and 7600X are coming this quarter
As part of a conference call with investors to announce its latest quarterly results, AMD has announced the release of its upcoming Ryzen 7000 series (“Raphael”) desktop processors based on Zen 4 and the new AM5 platform with DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 the current third quarter of this year is confirmed.
Ryzen 7000 will be released later this quarter
AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su promised a release of the Ryzen 7000 CPUs manufactured in 5nm at TSMC “later this quarter” and once again underlined the primary areas of application of the Zen 4 processors: “Gaming” and “Content Creation”, such as Tom’s hardware reported first.

This means that the Ryzen 7000 will be released no later than September 30, when the third quarter of 2022 ends.
Radeon RX 7000 with RDNA 3 later in the year
During the conference call, Lisa Su also commented on the release of the upcoming Radeon RX 7000 series based on the RDNA 3 architecture, which will be released “later” this year. AMD sees the GPU area in general in a difficult phase in the 3rd quarter.
