Pixel Tablet along with its dock makes an early appearance on Facebook Marketplace

The first glimpse of the Pixel Tablet I/O was given by Google earlier this year in May. Given those glimpses and other news, we have learned quite much about the forthcoming Android tablet and its docking station. Furthermore, Google shared some information about the Android tablet given the launch of the Pixel 7 series in October. As of now, no official date for the release of the tablet has been announced by the company. However, recently the device made its appearance on Facebook Marketplace.

The non-released Pixel Tablet is available for purchase on Facebook Marketplace. It is priced at $400. It encloses the charger as well as the docking station. However, the listing hasn’t revealed the details about the device. Furthermore, the seller has not shared a word regarding how he managed to get his hands on the product. Where it includes a few images displaying the tablet and docking station.

One thing to notice here is that the revealed images almost look similar to the ones shared by Google in the official renders. Thus, making the consumers believe that the listing could be valid. Talking about the features of the new Pixel tablet: it has chunky bezels around the display. A front-facing camera is inserted in the top bezel. It has a USB Type-C port on the left edge. Furthermore, it has speaker grilles on the left side and two microphones on the top edge.

In addition to this, the dock displays the G logo of Google. It has a charging port at the back. Pogo pins are provided on the front side to connect to the tablet. It’s designed in a woven fabric similar to Google’s Nest smart speaker lineup. However, the listing has not revealed any information about the hardware specifications of the device. Where some previous leaks suggested that it will have Google’s in-house Tensor SoC. In addition to this, it will have a 10.95-inch display, with up to 256GB storage, and two 8MP Sony IMX355 sensors.

It is expected that Google will introduce the tablet early next year. We can expect some more details about the product from the company before its official launch.
