The latest information from WABetaInfo suggests that WhatsApp Desktop beta now supports sending animated emojis. It is based on the Lottie Library. The feature is expected to arrive in the app in upcoming updates.

Well, animated emojis have been previously found in Telegram. It even permits users to turn animated emojis into profile pictures. WhatsApp is late in this game but anyhow they are welcome. The emojis will add more fun to a user’s chat.
