Nubia is working on a new device as confirmed by Ni Fei, the president of mobile devices at ZTE and is expected to release it later this year.
It was a while when we saw a Nubia Z series smartphone. The last smartphone we saw from the company was back in August 2019. It was the Nubia Z20, which was a solid device. But it never got a successor, until now as we hear that t new Nubia Z is on its way.
Ni Fei talked with Weibo and revealed that the next generation Nubia Z series will be coming soon. Weibo also published a poll asking Nubia fans “what upgrades they do expect on a new Nubia Z smartphone.”

We may expect that a new 2021 smartphone will comply with these four topics. So based on speculations we expect that the new device could bring a new System UI based on Android 11, having a longer battery life and fast charging support, a smartphone with a 64MP or above camera sensor.
Not to mention that ZTE is a pioneer in terms of in-display camera technologies. Then we also expect a 5G connectivity with this upcoming device.
According to GizChina, the new Nubia Z21 could bring the latest Snapdragon 888 or make it affordable giving the Snapdragon 870.
