After Xiaomi’s Mi 11 Pro and Ultra, comes the new folding-screen smartphone

Recently Xiaomi got the 3C certifications. We have learned that Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra and Xiaomi’s first folding screen smartphone would hit the market on March 29th, with only a few days left.

We already know that the major difference between the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is the rear camera design.

We also know that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will come with a triple-camera setup, with two main lenses and one periscope telephoto lens. The primary camera has the Samsung SOCELL GN2 50-megapixel CMOS, which has a 1/1.12-inch sensor and will support up to 120x zoom. The second camera will have a 48MP wide-angle CMOS, whereas the third one would be a 48MP with 120x periscope lens, supporting 5x optical zoom.

Moreover, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro would have a quad-curved screen design. The Pro variant will have a 2K+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, it would also feature the Harman Kardon audio, Snapdragon 888 chip, LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.1 flash storage, 67W wired fast charge, 67W wireless fast charge, 10W reverse wireless charge, and 5000mAh large battery.

Whereas it is expected that the folding-screen smartphone would be called the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Pro Max. This smartphone’s display comes from China Star Optoelectronics Technology (CSOT), a subsidiary of TCL. It will use an outward folding solution. When folded, it will have a diagonal of 6.38 inches.
