The universe of Samsung Galaxy is growing: five new products in various designs are waiting for us. According to Samsung, the most powerful Note smartphones to date are two tablets, a smartwatch and new headphones. We take a closer look at the devices.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G is not the name of a new digital device, but one of three new Samsung smartphones. The company has launched its new touch-family in a live stream announced that will contain his own words, the previously most powerful models.
In addition to the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G, the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 5G are also coming onto the market.
Mario Winter, Senior Director Marketing IT and Mobile Communication, says about the new devices: “With our new Galaxy products, we are particularly serving the needs of our customers for high productivity and technology for mobile gaming.”
The 5G models are of course aimed at users who already want to use the new mobile communications standard. The Note 20, on the other hand, is intended for broader target groups. However, all versions should offer very high productivity and a strong gaming experience.
The smartphones also make a visual impression: The Note 20 has grown to 6.7 inches and has a flat display. The Note 20 Ultra is 6.9 inches tall and has a screen that is curved on the sides.
The resolution is also impressive: the Note 20 is already very high at 2,400 by 1,080 pixels. With the Note 20 Ultra it is even 3,088 times 1,440 pixels. The frame rate for both devices is 120 Hertz.
The Note series also differs from other Samsung models with an integrated S-Pen. With the S-Pen you can write and draw on the smartphone display – similar to a tablet.
According to Samsung, you can work even better with the new S-Pen because the pen should give you a direct writing experience.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 starts at 925 euros with 256 gigabytes of memory and LTE as the cellular standard. Note 20 5G already costs 1,023 euros. And the Ultra models, also equipped with 5G, are available for 1,266 euros with 256 gigabytes and for 1,364 euros with 512 gigabytes of storage.
All smartphones also support cross-device connectivity. You can use it in conjunction with other Samsung Galaxy products.
In addition, Samsung has announced a new version of the foldable Galaxy Z Fold. More information than the name – Fold 2 5G – and the screen size – front display 6.2 inches and main display 7.6 inches – is not yet available.
In addition to the smartphones, Samsung has also announced two new tablets: the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and the S7 Plus.
The Galaxy Tab S7 comes with an eleven-inch TFT screen, six gigabytes of RAM, and 128 gigabytes of storage space. If you want, you can also order it with LTE cellular.
The larger Tab S7 Plus measures a proud 12.4 inches and has OLED technology. The main memory is eight gigabytes, the storage space is 256 gigabytes. You can also get it with 5G for an extra charge. The prices range between 681 and 1,149 euros.
In addition, Samsung has also presented a new smartwatch: the Galaxy Watch 3. The operating system is based on the free Tizen and is called Wearable OS 5.5. The clock is also optionally available with LTE functionality.
You can order them in two different sizes with a diameter of 41 or 45 millimeters. Both versions have eight gigabytes of storage space and a waterproof stainless steel housing. In terms of price, they range between 418 and 496 euros.
There are also new wireless headphones: The Galaxy Buds Live. Samsung has equipped it with active noise cancellation for the first time. The headphones have three microphones and should allow six to eight hours of battery life. They are available for 184 euros.
