According to Kuo, 5G support arrival will come as part of a huge redesign of the iPhone line-up. The upcoming iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max successors will have a 5.4-inch and 6.7-inch OLED display, respectively.

This is bigger than the 6.5-inch panel on the iPhone XS Max and smaller than the 5.8-inch screen on the iPhone XS. It means that Apple is planning to change the form-factor of its flagship iPhone smartphones by reducing the size of the notch needed for Face ID.
