Apple is offering 25% off on Vision Pro to its employees

The Cupertino-based tech firm is all set to debut the new Vision Pro headset. The device will be available for pre-order starting today, i.e., January 19, whereas it will officially launch on February 2. We are all aware that the Vision Pro headset comes with an expensive price tag. The company, on the other hand, is putting in all its efforts to maximize the reach of its products among consumers.

According to some recent pieces of information, the company will be giving a 25% discount on the headset to Apple employees. It means that the price of the headset will drop from $3,500 to approximately $2624, non-inclusive of tax. Bloomberg reports that the employees were informed about the discount via a memo shared recently. Compared to this, the company has offered a 50 percent discount in the past on new products like the Apple Watch and the HomePod. The Vision Pro, on the other hand, is quite expensive.

Every three years, workers receive a $500 credit toward a Mac, which may also be used for the Vision Pro. Additionally, Apple intends to cover the cost of any necessary prescription lenses for workers who buy the headset. Tomorrow at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time, pre-orders for the Vision Pro will open, and the device will launch on Friday, February 2. Currently, the device will be launched in the US market. The company wants to keep the sales and supply processes streamlined; for this reason, the headset won’t be available in other regions at launch. Reportedly, the company will launch the Vision Pro headset in other markets before WWDC 2024.
