Apple Might Halt The Production For The 10.86-inch OLED iPad
Apple might halt the production for the 10.86-inch tablet for some unknown reasons.
Apple was earlier working on a new tablet series. The series were expected to feature a 10.86-inch model and a larger 12.9-inch one. But now we heard that the company could halt the production for the smaller variant.
According to a rumor, there could be several reasons behind that. One story suggested that there is a possible disagreement of display, which are provided by Samsung. Apple requested for double-stack tandem structure OLEDs instead of single stacks. It is the more widely used type of display for smartphones and tablets.
The new display would be more expensive and better performing. This new demand from Apple will delay the mass production of displays.
Although, the company hasn’t said a word about it and we are uncertain if that side of the story stands correct or not.
On the other hand, the company will be releasing the higher-end tablet, i.e. the one with a 12.9-inch display. But they are also not coming soo. In fact we heard this device might come in 2023 or 2024.
