Apple might limit announcements to its new Accessories for the current week

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple most likely intends to release a new accessory this week rather than a significant product, with stores presently just anticipating a small update. The forecast comes after a speculation that Apple intends to make product announcements this week via press releases on its website, which surfaced over the weekend.

According to Gurman, Apple stores are really preparing a bigger makeover for early next week, which is probably connected to one of the bigger reported surprises. These include two new iPad Air models, new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models, and new iPad Pro variants with OLED displays.

Before then, there were rumors of new accessories that we might see, such as an Apple Pencil and other iPhone cases along with Apple watch bands. There are also rumors of an upcoming Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro with a larger trackpad, although Apple is unlikely to release this until new iPad Pro models are revealed.

A new color option for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is another unlikely possibility, albeit this hasn’t been rumored and is simply based on when prior colorways have been released. Furthermore, a new iPhone color is a significant product, not an add-on.

Gurman previously stated that he thinks Apple will launch new goods “on its website” and through a “series of online videos and marketing campaigns” at some time in March or April, rather than at a traditional event.
