At launch, Apple will be offering sports apps and streaming services on the Vision Pro

Apple Vision Pro is about to launch in a few days. Reportedly, the device can be pre-ordered as of January 19. We are coming across several reports and updates regarding the upcoming headset. Today, we have received another major update regarding the Vision Pro headset. According to details, the Cupertino-based tech giant Apple shared the list of video, sports, and streaming apps that will be available on the Vision Pro.

Reportedly, the following apps will be accessible on the headset: Red Bull TV, IMAX, TikTok, Max, Discovery+, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, Disney+, ESPN, MLB, PGA Tour, Peacock, Pluto TV, Tubi, Fubo, Crunchyroll, and MUBI. The MLS Season Pass is also available to Major League Soccer fans via the Apple TV app on their headsets. Besides the above-mentioned apps, users can access several other streaming services through Safari or other web browsers on the headset. On the whole, it is going to be an entertaining and exciting experience.

When it comes to movie content, Vision Pro can feature both 2D and 3D movies. Disney+ and a few other streaming services, according to Apple, will premiere 3D versions of new films concurrently with or soon after 2D premieres and will initially provide a selection of movies in 3D on the Vision Pro.

Reportedly, more than 150 3D movies will be available on the headset at launch. Users can either buy or rent these movies from the Apple TV app. A few examples include The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Dune, Avatar: The Way of Water, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. In addition to this, a selection of media filmed in the new Apple Immersive Video format will be available for free through the Apple TV app. According to Apple, the format comprises 180-degree 3D (8K) spatial audio recordings.
