August 2024 New Movies And Series On Amazon Prime Video

More than 65 new films and series will be released on Prime Video in August. Amazon’s highlights include Batman, Perfectly Missed, Jackpot! and new episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Our overview shows all new releases and dates.

Cartoons, fantasy and lots of laughs

In August, Prime Video will launch the new animated series Batman: Caped Crusader. “The series is a reinterpretation of the Batman mythology through the visionary lens of executive producer JJ Abrams, Matt Reeves and Bruce Timm,” says Amazon. Fantasy fans, on the other hand, can look forward to the second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, in which Sauron returns.
