Baluchistan has been an area of negligence for many years and has remained stagnant in its norms and customs. Finally we can see some difference in the system of the province as the government has decided to set up an online procedure and digitalize the records of land and revenue in a systematic manner. This whole project is named as “Land Revenue Management Information System.”
First of all the four main cities of Baluchistan, that are Quetta, Pishin, Jaffarabad and Gwadar would be digitalized. There records related to land, income and expenses would be computerized.
Geographical Information System would be used to establish an authentic and transparent method for covering all Baluchistan land transactions. Geographical Information System is a system that is developed in order to capture, collect, examine, manage and exhibit all information related to a geographical area.
It is being expected by the Board of Revenue that once the system is computerized there would be a manifold raise in revenue. The information would become authentic and genuine and any misconduct regarding financial transactions could be easily determined.
Baluchistan has seen a rough time and advancement especially in this province is a positive sign for the whole Pakistani nation.
