Data Hacked of Leading Pakistani Banks
An official of Federal Investigation Agency revealed that the data has been hacked of leading major Pakistani banks. FIA Cyber Crimes Director (retd) Capt Mohammad Shoaib said that the details of this have not been shared by the banks with the authorities. But FIA conducted some investigations in which it was revealed that data was stolen from almost all Pakistani banks.
Almost 100 cases have been registered and investigations are going on. According to Capt Shoaib, a meeting will be held between FIA and bank chiefs to discuss this issue. According to the official the data hacking operation was executed from abroad. But he did not reveal the bank names affected.

According to another news reports the ATM fraud scam affected numerous account holders and only in KPK over 200 people lost millions of rupees from their respective accounts. Dr. Yousuf Khilji who is an ex-scientist of KRL sent an application to the Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar claiming that someone withdrew Rs 3 million from his account is just a few hours.
Also, recently 6 Pakistani banks suspended their debit card usage outside Pakistan.
