Details of the Vivo V30 camera surface, revealing superior Sony sensors
The Vivo V30 series will be announced in Thailand on February 28. The smartphone was spotted on certification platforms ahead of its official launch that gives us a glimpse at the possible feature set. Recently, the details about the camera specifications of the Vivo V30 Pro were shared by 91Mobiles.
The source indicates that the smartphone will feature a 50MP camera setup, along with two top-tier Sony sensors.
Reportedly, for the primary camera, the V30 Pro will feature a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor. However, it will include a 50MP Sony IMX816 sensor for the portrait lens. In addition to these, it will also feature an ultra-wide-angle lens.
According to the source, the V30 Pro’s remarkable 50MP sensor is said to provide the greatest portrait photography experience in the market. It is also reported that the 50MP Eye AF selfie camera will be included in the V30 and V30 Pro variants. Moreover, the Vivo V30 Pro is rumored to introduce a Zeiss-camera system. If this is true, then it will be the first for the V series smartphones. With this partnership, exclusive Zeiss camera and video modes will be offered to users.
According to leaks, the V30 Pro is expected to feature a curved-edge 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1260 x 2800 pixels resolution. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It will run on Android 14 and FunTouch OS 14. Thus, users will benefit from a smooth and feature-rich experience. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery, with support for 80W fast charging. Furthermore, the smartphone is IP54-rated. It measures 164.4 x 75.1 x 7.5mm and weighs 188 grams.
