Fortune 500 Ranking Released: Huawei Ranked 83 In Top 100 List

On July 20th Fortune 500 were ranked and Huawei went up to the position 83rd from 129th in the previous year. Revenue of Huawei was $78.51 billion this year which enables the company to be ranked in top 100 global companies for the very first time.

Fortune 500 is the most respectable and esteemed list that give ranking to all the companies around the world. This list is called the “Ultimate List”. The list is released each year by Fortune magazine.

The ranking criteria are the revenue and profit of the company. The focus is more on the size of the companies when we compared it with other ranking lists.

The list is extremely important for the companies as it allows the companies to know where they stand in the competitive corporate world. It allows them to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, size and international competitiveness, of their company.  How much effort is required to perform better than before and planning of future becomes easier by knowing their ranks in the industry.

Huawei is a company that is recognized by many agencies and has been selected for many known brand value list globally present. Previously Huawei was the only Chinese company that found a place in World’s Most Valuable Brand List released by Forbes in 2017; Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands list by BrandZ and was No 40 in Brand Finance 2017 Global 500 list of the top most valuable brands in the world by climbing up seven places from last year’s rank.

This all indicates that Huawei is growing as a brand and each year getting better and better.
