Galaxy A51 5G And Galaxy A13 5G Now Receive Android 13 With One UI 5

Samsung continues to progress with the delivery of Android 13 and One UI 5. This week it is announced that three mid-range devices will benefit from the latest update. Galaxy A13 5G, Galaxy XCover 5, and Galaxy A51 5G are served.

Roll Out Begins In The Next Few Days

The final version of One UI 5 based on Android 13 was launched on the first devices in the Galaxy family in October. As usual, the group first supplied its current flagship models such as the Galaxy S22 and the flip and fold models, and then shortly afterward also brought the Galaxy S21 and S20 up to date. According to the XDA developers, the first three mid-range models can now look forward to an update this week.

Galaxy A13 5G

For the Galaxy A13 5G, the release of Android 13 is currently announced for Europe, the update, and will be distributed under the build number A136BXXU2BVK3. This software is intended for the global variant, model number SM-A136B, which is also sold in this country.

Galaxy X Cover 5

The robust outdoor smartphone XCover 5 (SM-G525F) will be brought to Android 13 under the build number G525FXXU5CVK6. So far, only European customers can look forward to a corresponding announcement, the rest of the world will probably have to wait a little longer.

Galaxy A51 5G

There is a special situation with the Galaxy A51 5G. For the time being, the update with the build number A516VSQU5FVK1 is only available for the 5G version of the Galaxy A51 (SM-A516V), which is distributed by the US provider Verizon. The free US models and the global variants are left out, but the limited release should also mark wider availability soon.
