With the Galaxy A52, Samsung’s next bestseller candidate is in the starting blocks. New leaks now indicate the technical data and the targeted price of the 6.5-inch mid-range smartphone, which is expected to hit the market in March 2021.
More than a year has passed since the South Korean manufacturer was able to embark on another successful course with the Galaxy A51. The comparatively inexpensive Android smartphone is now one of the best-selling models worldwide. While the first pictures of the successor Galaxy A52 appeared in the network at the end of January, the specifications and a possible price are now revealed in a new leak from Vietnam.
In its 4G-LTE version, the Samsung Galaxy A52 should have a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a classic refresh rate of 60 Hz. There is also talk of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor (Octa-Core / 2.3 GHz), 8 GB of RAM and internal storage with a capacity of 128 GB. With regard to the cameras, the Vietnamese leaker predicts a rear quad-camera system with up to 64 megapixels and a selfie camera with 32 megapixels at the front. A 4500 mAh battery with 25-watt fast charge is also on its list.
In terms of price, the Samsung Galaxy A52 should be available in Vietnam for the equivalent of 400 US dollars at the end of March. The 5G variant including a slightly drilled Snapdragon 750G chip, on the other hand, is likely to approach the 500 euro mark. Apart from the Galaxy A52, the manufacturer is to plan the introduction of the Galaxy A72, which was also shown in the first pictures. The presentation of the two smartphones has not yet been officially confirmed.
