It’s been four years since the launch of Galaxy Note 10 Lite. For the first time it has received an update during this week. As for the device that has been around for a while, we could have expected more than just a security enhancement update. The latest Galaxy Note 10 received an update with firmware version N770FXXS9HXA3. This update is currently available in few European and Asian markets. For Europe this update seems to be targeting carrier variants rather than unlocked models.
This latest February 2024 security patch update brings the solution for 72 security flaws, out of which 61 are from Google and will be applied to the core Android OS. However, the remaining 11 amendments are applicable to Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Three amendments in the latest security patch update are marked critical while the others are high risked. As for Galaxy devices, it specifies seven amendments for high risk and the other four for moderate-risk vulnerabilities.
If you’re currently using Galaxy Note 10 Lite, you can expect another security update for the upcoming year. Although it might be slower to release. For downloading this update, head to your phone settings > Software update menu or you can use firmware files to manually upgrade the device with the help of Windows PC.
