As we already know from various reports that Samsung is all set to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event in August, and the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 folding screens will undoubtedly come under the spotlights. According to the latest information, Indonesia’s telecom regulatory agency has recently exposed the certification information of the two devices, which means that the devices will soon face their users. A few days ago, we have already seen the so-called design renderings of the new Galaxy Z Flip 3 on the Internet. It is also reported that Samsung has already started the mass production of both devices.
The certification list shows that the two devices are called Project Q2 and Project B2 respectively, corresponding to Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, but it does not mention the detailed specifications of the two new folding screens. It is reported earlier that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 can open and close like a book, and the external screen is almost borderless, supplemented by a hidden front camera under the UPC screen and a 108 million-pixel rear three-camera combination.
The Galaxy Note series has been abandoned by Samsung, the folding screen product line will take over support for the S Pen stylus. In addition, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 follows the classic clamshell design, and the external screen has been increased from 1.1 inches to 1.9 inches. In terms of processor, Galaxy Z Fold 3 may use an upgraded version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset, while Galaxy Z Flip 3 may use Snapdragon 888, supplemented by a storage combination of 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM.
