Get a Free Ubisoft+ Subscription For One Month
Similar to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass, the games subscription service Ubisoft+ offers flat-rate access to games from the French publisher for a monthly fee. However, in the case of Ubisoft+, there are some differences. You can currently try this for free.
Last weekend, the company held its Ubisoft Forward event, where it unveiled a number of new games, most notably the Assassin’s Creed series, including the title codenamed Red, which will be heading to Japan. But an action has also been announced to attract new users to Ubisoft + (via Eurogamer).
It’s free, but don’t forget to cancel
Because the subscription service available for PCs can be tried out free of charge for a month, or more precisely until October 10th. Ubisoft+ can be used to its full extent, i.e. with all full and premium versions, i.e. with downloadable content. season passes etc.
Players have to choose one of two variants: “PC Access” and “Multi-Access”. The latter track essentially offers additional Stadia streaming. Now some will wonder why Ubisoft doesn’t offer just one variant if it’s free anyway. The reason for this is that two different subscriptions are advertised here: Normal access costs EUR 14.99 per month, and those who want Stadia included must pay EUR 17.99 per month.
The decisive factor is that the trial subscription must be explicitly canceled. Ubisoft writes in the fine print: “Your account will not be charged until October 10th, 2022. If you do not cancel your subscription before the end of the free trial period, it will automatically renew at the standard monthly fee shown above, which will be charged each month until you cancel .” In short, it’s safe to try Ubisoft+, but set a reminder and cancel in time – if you don’t want to keep the service.
