Google Drive’s getting an optimizing look along with added functionality to Android tablets
Being an android tablet user, you can literally notice the lack of performance even if you are using a high-priced or even a cheaper tablet. We can see that many applications are not designed for bigger displays. But if you are just using these tablets for entertainment purposes, that won’t be a big issue for you. But from the perspective of being productive, it’s kind of a hurdle in that case. However, Google has launched various updates to its drive that have made the experience much better so far, along with the improvement in interface.
As per an announcement via the Google Workspace blog, the latest update will be available to organizations that are on a rapid release track. As for the organizations that are out of track, this update is planned to roll out for them after April 3. Many organizations are already on the list and are expected to get this update next month.
What the update provides in terms of improvements is new tablet optimizations, including a side-shifted navigation bar that makes it simpler to navigate across the program, particularly folders and files. Also, the business said that “visual components” had been enhanced for larger screens, one of which was the file details for a chosen file. Even if these updates aren’t the most spectacular, they are still useful. By improving little details like these, the software can be made even better and simpler to use. Of course, you are always welcome to try out the app; just keep in mind that the cosmetic upgrade is only available to Google Workspace accounts.
