Google Drive’s web version gets a redesigned to location picker
Google is all set to launch its latest update to its Drive app, which is about a redesign for the location picker on the web version of the app. This update brings various visual enhancements to the popups that appear while you are moving files or creating a shortcut for them. When you are selecting a file, it’ll give you a quick suggestion regarding shifting the file to a different location.
When you tap on the file and select the move option from the menu bar, a popup will appear along with the file’s name or folder containing its current location. Underneath it, three tabs will be presented to you that will suggest different locations to move your file. Among these suggestions, you can choose the desired location you want to shift your file to. The shifting of a document’s path will be noted at the bottom, along with a notification that will update you if the folder is empty.
Another button, Move, will let you change your file’s location with a single tap. To add a subfolder, you need to tap on the arrow icon. An amendment will be made to the folder location regarding its new location. You’ll also get updates regarding the paths of selected folders, along with the option to create a new folder inside an existing one.
Along with that, Google Drive will suggest a location for moving the files. Also, if you want to select another location other than the one suggested, you can deny the suggestion and it will be removed from the list right away. Another advanced option named View only’ is added to Drive and will elaborate on the error in moving files if you’re not the actual owner of these files.

They will be available to you right away once it’s rolled out.
