Twitter exceeded character limit to 10,000 for paid subscribers

Twitter

Twitter has been in chaos since Elon Musk took over, but within that chaos, Twitter Blue was the focus. This platform was being constantly improved, and that was happening through several amendments to the subscription plan. It wasn’t done so long ago, yet the platform is all set to do the action again. Twitter is planning to increase its character limit by a lot more than before.

For non-subscribers, this limit is set at 280 characters, which is far better as it equalizes the length of a short article. This limit was extended to 4000 characters a few months ago, but the platform just has not stopped there; they want to extend this limit even more.

Twitter’s blue character limit is exceeded at 10,000 characters

As per the announcement for Twitter about the enhancement of reading and writing experiences on the platform starting today, with a huge shift of increasing the character limit to 10,000 characters, That marks a 150% increase over the previous character length. So you are all set to spill out your ideas and debates on the platform. but surely there is no guarantee that people will be willing to read up on that long tweet, but this feature is there if you want to hop on it.

Along with this tremendous character increase, the platform is aiming to provide blue tick subscribers with two new fonts for their tweets: bold and italic. These two fonts will let you tweet in the most emphasized way that you weren’t able to do this before. This will allow you to write complete articles on the platform if you are willing to do so.

You can already add pictures to your tweets, and this latest increase in character length will be the icing on the cake. These latest improvements are already being rolled out, so you can use them right away as soon as they are available.

Along with this, the number of ads displayed on the platform has decreased. This is a bit of a backlash, as these reduced ads can’t be seen on the platform. These ads will only appear on your page. Other than that, the ads will be displayed in the same way as before.
