Various companies have introduced their Chromebooks, including the tech giant Samsung. On a global scale, Chromebooks have started receiving new software updates. A recent report suggests that Google is all set to roll out the stable version of ChromeOS 109 on all Chromebook devices globally. The update will start rolling out shortly. It will be made available across all appropriate Chrome OS devices comprising desktop PCs.

The recent ChromeOS 109 updates hold minor changes. One such change is in the visual appearance associated with booting the device. The new update changes the app’s display while the device is booted. Previously, apps were presented with a greyed-out app icon. While the ARC (Android Runtime for Chrome) was preparing the app to launch. Given the latest updates, the app window opens up with a splash screen. The splash screen is presented le until the ARC is ready. The folks at 9to5Googe report that such a feature is quite good. Since it presents the idea of the device working faster. While in reality, it takes the same amount of time to launch and use the app.

Aside from this feature, one of the notable features arriving on ChromeOS devices is the capacity of adding a HEX code of the color. The HEX code of color is added in the custom color picker presented in the Annotation feature of the Gallery. This feature will enable the users to choose the accurate color instead of looking for the alike.

In addition to this, the company has renamed the ‘From The Web’ feature to ‘About This Page.’ Users can gain access to this feature by tapping on the lock-shaped icon presented on the left side of the address bar. It features a segment of Wikipedia. It holds a description under the title “in their own words.” Furthermore, it also displays the web results regarding the particular website or brand.
