Google is currently testing generative AI for search

Just recently, the tech giant Google declared that access to Search Labs is now open. Testers can now experiment with the new Search Generative Experience. it is powered by AI. However, the feature is only available to users of Google Labs. The feature will also be available to users who have joined the Google Labs Waitlist.

This Search feature was announced by the tech company at the start of this month. Google introduced this feature during its I/O developer conference. According to the company, the purpose of AI Search is to “take some of the work out of searching,” which can help users learn more about new subjects, discover opposing points of view, and “get things done more easily.”

The company implies that AI Search can categorize complicated searches into small parts. In addition to this, it offers quick suggestions for particular questions. Furthermore, it describes the background information that should be used when looking for things to purchase.

The concept of generative AI to search by Google is a new concept. The firm says that it will continue to add up more updates and improvements to this feature over time based on user feedback. As of now, the feature is accessible to U.S. users. it requires a Google app or Chrome desktop browser. The eligible users for Google Labs will receive an email.
