Previously we were using Android 12 Beta 2 after Google announced the new operating system. In fact, the company first released the developer-only version and then moved to Android 12 Beta 2. And now, the company moved a bit farther.
Google has now released the Android 12 Beta 2.1 version with some bug fixing. This version fixed issues like the one that prevented users from accessing things on the lock screen. It also resolved issues related to weather and calendar apps.
We were also facing an issue related to the mic and camera that sometimes got stuck and disappeared completely until the phone was rebooted. That issue is now resolved. There was also an issue where users were stuck on the setup wizard after installing the Beta. That’s also now resolved. And finally, there was an issue with the Android Emulator, which is also resolved.
The new Android 12 Beta 2.1 comes with build number SPB2.210513.011 and is coming to a device running the previous Android 12 Beta 2.
