Google Pixel 4a Appeared On Google Store In Error Exposing Official Image

It has been seven months with rumors and leaks of the new Pixel 4a, whose launch seems to resist due to the current situation of the coronavirus since the pandemic caused the cancellation of the Google I/O in May and the presentation of Android 11 in June, two failed events in which in theory the next Google mid-range mobile would be presented.

Now its launch could be just around the corner for the latest leak, which comes directly from the Google Store. The store mistakenly released the first official Pixel 4a image.

The press image of the Pixel 4a that we see above has been mistakenly filtered by the Google Store in Canada. Due to some flaws, the Pixel 4a image would appear in the promotional image of the Nest WiFi. The error only lasted a few minutes, then the Google Store fixed the error and stopped showing the Pixel 4a image.

It is not the first time that the Google Store filters the next launch of a device in “error”. It already happened last year with the Pixel 3a, Nest Hub Max, and in 2013 with the Nexus 5. This could mean that the Google Store is preparing for the launch of the Pixel 4a since when a device has been leaked it has gone out to sale within a few days or weeks. The Pixel 4a will be a mid-range device that would have a 5.81-inch OLED screen without frames with a punch-hole for the front camera, with Snapdragon 730, 6GB of RAM, 64/128 GB of storage, wireless charging, sensor rear fingerprint, and a single rear camera. Its price would be between $349-399.
